Terms of Service

⚠ RoCo's PetBnB is currently in its founding/waitlist stage in Lincoln & Ord, Nebraska. These terms describe how the platform is intended to work once booking and payments go live, and will be reviewed by an attorney before that happens.

1. Who We Are

RoCo's PetBnB is a pet-sitting marketplace connecting Nebraska pet owners with independent, background-checked pet care hosts. It is co-founded by Cody Houston (Lincoln, NE) and Racheal Rowse (Ord, NE).

2. The Waitlist & Founding Host Applications

Joining our waitlist or submitting a host application does not create a booking, a contract for services, or a guarantee of acceptance. We'll follow up by email as we open new areas and finish verifying founding hosts.

3. How Bookings Will Work (Once Live)

Hosts are independent providers, not employees of RoCo's PetBnB. Hosts set their own rates and availability.
RoCo's PetBnB charges a service fee (planned at 10–15%) on completed bookings, in addition to the host's rate.
Payments will be processed through a third-party payment processor. Funds are released to hosts after a booking is completed.
Every host will be required to pass a background check before their profile is listed publicly.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Once bookings are live, cancellations made 48+ hours before a booking's start will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a partial fee set by the host's individual policy.

5. Insurance

We intend to include pet protection coverage (targeted at $25,000) on completed bookings through a third-party insurance provider. Exact terms and coverage will be published once finalized.

6. Host Responsibilities

Hosts agree to provide accurate information about their experience, availability, and the pets and services they can accommodate, and to complete any required identity and background verification.

7. Limitation of Liability

RoCo's PetBnB facilitates connections between pet owners and independent hosts but is not itself a pet care provider. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoCo's PetBnB is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent hosts or pet owners.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops from waitlist to full launch. We'll post the updated date at the top of this page.
